Private brands on special display

This thesis is concerning private brands on Special display. ICA Gott Liv! was used as a study object and a latin square design was employed, using 2 ICA Kvantum stores. Two displays were built in order to compare which created the most awareness and interest, one with the best selling Gott Liv! product and one with four randomly chosen Gott Liv! products. The data was collected using triangulation, questionnaires, sales data and observations were conducted in the two stores. The results indicated that private brands works as well as manufacturer brands on Special display and a display with four randomly chosen products creates more interest and higher sales than the display with the best selling product..

Vision Enhancement System : Vilken betydelse har displayplaceringen?

At night, the visibility is reduced and the demands on the driver increase. A safety system that enables the driver to discover warmer objects in the surroundings when the visibility are reduced, such as the Vision Enhancement System (VES) contributes to safer night-time driving. Since the benefits of this system are established, it is of interest to investigate different design aspects. The VES display has in earlier studies been positioned in front of the driver but different display positions such as peripheral placement should be evaluated. The present simulator study is an investigation of the effects of different display positions inside the car.

VHDL-implementering av drivkrets för en alfanumerisk display

Allting började med att jag fick i uppdrag av Euromaint Industry i Skövde att konstruera en alfanumerisk display i syfte att ersätta en utgången display som inte längre nytillverkas. Jag fick i uppdrag att välja ut en modern, lämplig grafisk display och bygga ett interface mellan den nya displayen och den industriella maskin som displayen skall sitta på. Efter att ha letat hos någraelektronikleverantörer kom jag fram till att en TFT-skärm från det japanska företaget Kyocera var den som passade bäst. Skärmen hade ett VGA-liknandeinterface och min uppgift blev att sätta mig in i hur VGA fungerar. Efter att ha konstaterat att det krävdes en snabbare krets än en microcontroller för att använda VGA, var det endast en programmerbar logikkrets, en FPGA, som gällde.

Skyltfönster som kommunikationsverktyg- En kvantitativ studie om kreativa och mindre kreativa skyltfönsters effekter

This research examines the effects of creative store window displays of fashion brands in enhancing recall, attitudes, intentions and brand associations. A comparison has been made between high-end and low-end brands, creative versus non creative store window displays to identify differences in effects. The theory applied in this study has been used from creative advertising effects due to the lack of relevant research in store window display effects. Therefore this study is a contribution to the research of store window effects. The method used in this study compare fashion high-end brand with fashion low-end brand by placing the products in the store window display where the creativity has been manipulated.

Engreppsskördare med Head-Up Display

Arbetsbelastningen för föraren i en engreppsskördare är stor. Vid aptering måste föraren fokusera om blicken för att läsa av information från en Head-Down Display (HDD) samtidigt som föraren måste ha kontroll på kranspetsen vilket bidrar till arbetsbelastningen.Syftet med projektet var att undersöka om arbetsbelastningen i engreppsskördare reducerades med Head-Up Display (HUD) under aptering. Först testades fyra HUD-gränssnitt i en simulator, därefter omarbetades gränssnitten innan de slutligen testades i en engreppsskördare i fält. En HUD-demonstrator utvecklades för detta ändamål.Resultatet visade att arbetsbelastningen samt apteringstiderna minskade i simulatortestet med HUD jämfört med HDD. I fältstudien förblev arbetsbelastningen oförändrad men apteringstiderna minskade.Att arbetsbelastningen minskade med HUD jämfört med HDD kan bero på att HUD är bättre än HDD och/eller att konceptens gränssnitt är effektivare att arbeta med än Valmet Maxi gränssnittet.En HUD-demonstrator som fungerar under ljusstarka förhållanden och som tål påfrestningarna i en skördare borde utvecklas för vidare tester..

Särskild undervisningsgrupp : En undersökning om upplevelser och tankar kring en särskild undervisningsgrupp

The purpose with this essay is to explore how pupils in a special group of education experience how it feels to be part of this kind of group. Further I want to examine a special educationalist view of this kind of groups. To perform this essay I choose to interview four pupils and one special educationalist. Through the interviews I want to discover the pupils and the special educationalists thoughts and experience. The result has been compared with earlier research and the essay has its basis in different theories.

Display Interface Serializer : seriell förlängning av displaygränssnitt

Detta ingenjörsarbete är utfört hos Syntronic Research and Development AB i Gävle och går ut på att undersöka möjligheten att separera en display-modul från sin styrande processor-krets samt att skapa ett generellt gränssnitt för att möjliggöra ett enkelt utbyte av display-moduler. Detta har genomförts genom att konstruera en prototyp, baserad på en så kallad serializer / deserializer-lösning.En förstudie har genomförts där lämpliga komponener valts ut för uppgiften och olika lösningar vägts mot varandra. En prototyp har sedan konstruerats, mönsterkort har tillverkats men tyvärr inte monterats (på grund av ett logistiskt missöde). Fördelarna med ikoner kontra text : Finns det skillnader med avseende på displaystorlek?

Att presentera information i ett gränssnitt kan göras med ikoner, text eller med kombinationen ikoner och text. Vilket sätt är att föredra? Forskning visar att inget presentationssätt är att föredra framför något annat. Dessa studier är enbart utförda på stora displayer. Går resultaten att applicera på små displayer? Exponera mera : ett arbete om skyltning på bibliotek

This Master s thesis deals with the display of library media, whether it is conceivable and desirable to draw inspiration from the retail business when displaying articles. The questions asked are: are there, in the retail sector, well established display ideas and - if so - what do they look like? Are the similarities in conditions, between the branches, sufficient? In conveying the ideas to libraries, are the potential differences not obstructive? Is there, among librarians, a positive attitude towards further development of library display techniques? The results were achieved by interviewing shop window dressers and librarians. In addition, a survey was sent to the library managers of 65 public libraries in southern Sweden. The results show that there are established ideas and methods of displaying materials, and that the ideas are manifested in frequently used techniques.

Within special education, there is a big dilemma where some mean that school should include all pupils in the same school class, regardless of the students' needs for assistance, while others believe that students with special needs to be placed in small adapted groups where students have similar needs is to exclude pupils. This study is about how the dialog can help students with special needs to feel participation and inclusion in the class and the teaching. My purpose with this study was to look for how the students with special needs interact with other students and teachers through the dialogue. I also wanted to know if there is any positive and negative effects to teaching students with special need in the classroom compared with the teaching at the special teacher.I have taking purpose of the sociocultural theory in my study because it says that children learn together when they communicate with each other. The theory central words are dialog and scaffolding in the zone of proximal development. I also describe central words like participation, inclusion and students with special needs in the special teaching.I have investigated in four interviews, two of them were with a teacher and a special aids teacher, and two of them were students with special needs.

How do special educators work to include children with special needs in preschool? That was the question that our thesis proceeded from, and the purpose was to get an insight in the methods used by the special educators to achieve inclusion. Our questions were: ? Is Swedish preschool a place for inclusion? ? How are special educators work organized and focused? ? Which experiences do special educators have working with children with special needs in preschool, and what role do they mean that inclusion plays in this work? Our procedure in this enquiry was to perform semi-structured interviews with 5 different special educators in two different cities. Interpretation and analyis proceeded from three different theories: Urie Bronfenbrenner?s ecological systems theory, John Bowlby?s theory of attachment and Karsten Hundeide?s sociocultural theory. The result showed support for the idea of the Swedish preeschool as a place with many opportunities for inclusion. We have also seen how both money and political decisions has an impact on which possibilities the preschools receive to work with inclusion. In addition it became apparent that the methods used by special educators differed depending on both cities and districts.

AbstractThe aim of our study was that from a Preschool Manager?s perspective to describe, analyze and understand the function of special education and the Special Education Teacher?s profession within preschools. We conducted twelve interviews with Preschool Managers in two northern Swedish municipalities. From a theoretical base, we used both the relational and categorical perspectives. All answers from these interviews have been analyzed from these perspectives.
